Best Aimlabs Alternatives
Aimlabs is free to start, but the tools most players want are in a $7 to $10 a month subscription, and it only runs on Windows and consoles. Here are the alternatives, what each does better than Aimlabs, and what you give up.
We make Online Aim Trainer, so read this as a competitor's view. Every price, player count and rating for another product below comes from a public page linked under Sources, checked on the date above.
Why players look elsewhere
Aimlabs is a good trainer, and for many players it's the first one they try. The reasons people go looking for something else are consistent across Steam reviews and the r/aimlab and r/FPSAimTrainer communities:
- The subscription. The Sensitivity Finder, the VALORANT, CS2 and Apex programs, the AI coach and the advanced metrics are in Aimlabs Pro: $10 a month, or $84 a year on the six-month plan. Players regularly compare that with KovaaK's $9.99, paid once.
- The prompts. Pro offers on launch and on results screens are a recurring complaint in reviews, and recent Steam reviews have fallen to 78% positive against 90% all-time.
- The download. It's a Windows app through Steam (or a console app), so there's no way to use it on a Mac, a Chromebook or a computer you can't install software on.
Aimlabs is also shrinking: its average number of players online on Steam fell about 47% between August 2024 and September 2026. It's still the largest trainer by players, so this is about fit, not about Aimlabs being bad.

Five Aimlabs alternatives
1. Online Aim Trainer (ours)
Better than Aimlabs at: getting you shooting. It opens in a browser tab, with no launcher, no account and nothing to install, and it matches your sensitivity 1:1 for Valorant, CS2, CS:GO, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, Deadlock, Quake / Source. Every drill, the Iron to Radiant rank on each one and the global leaderboard are free, with no ads. The one paid thing is Pro, $19.99 once for life (less in lower-income regions), for Sens Check (a blind test of your sens against four others), the Warm-up Meter, the Aim Report and profile looks; it can't buy rank.
You give up: library size. We have 8 graded drills, not thousands of community tasks, and no official VALORANT maps.
2. KovaaK's
Better than Aimlabs at: depth and price over time. One $9.99 purchase gets 31,000+ scenarios, a full editor, and free benchmarks, workouts and competitions. It's where the Voltaic benchmarks live, and it's the only big trainer whose player count is growing (a new all-time peak of 4,508 this month).
You give up: a free start, consoles and Macs, and Aimlabs' guided, VALORANT-specific content. New players can find the library overwhelming without a routine to follow.
3. 3D Aim Trainer
Better than Aimlabs at: being fully free. SteelSeries owns it and sells nothing to players, and it has a browser version as well as an app.
You give up: the browser version is the lighter one. The extra Pro Training exercises and higher frame rates are in the desktop build, which installs through SteelSeries GG, and you need an account to save progress.
4. Aiming.pro
Better than Aimlabs at: a cheaper subscription with regional prices, a 30-day money-back guarantee, and it runs in a browser.
You give up: it's still a subscription for the good parts. The free tier shows ads and allows one workout a day; game-matched training is Plus+ only.
5. Aimbeast
Better than Aimlabs at: no subscription, and it's 93% positive on Steam.
You give up: community. About 51 people play it at any time, so there are far fewer shared scenarios and rivals.
Replacing each Pro feature for free
If what keeps you on Aimlabs is one Pro feature, here's how to cover it without the subscription.
Sensitivity Finder
The finder tests you and suggests a sens. The free route works well: use the cm/360 you already play at (a converter moves it between games exactly), and keep it. Consistency beats a "perfect" number. If you're new, go lower: in our data, new players on low sens scored far higher. The sensitivity research has the numbers.
VALORANT and CS2 programs
A short, fixed routine at your real sens does most of the job. Our 5-minute warm-up routine maps tracking, flicks, micro-adjustments and reaction to drills, and every drill in it is free.
AI coach and advanced metrics
The question a coach answers is "what should I train?". Ranking every skill separately answers it too: play each drill once, then spend your time on the one with the lowest rank. On Online Aim Trainer every drill has its own Iron to Radiant rank, calibrated to real player data, and the drill pages show exactly how each is scored.
No subscription, no download
Set your game and sens and run one drill. If it feels right, it's your warm-up from now on.
Questions answered
What is the best free alternative to Aimlabs?
For a warm-up with no download, Online Aim Trainer: free in the browser, every drill and rank included, sens matched 1:1 for VALORANT, CS2, Apex, Overwatch 2 and more. For a free desktop-style experience with structured paths, 3D Aim Trainer, funded by SteelSeries.
What is the best paid alternative to Aimlabs?
KovaaK's. It costs $9.99 once on Steam instead of a monthly subscription, has the biggest scenario library, and its benchmarks and workouts are free.
Is there an Aimlabs alternative for Mac?
Yes. Aimlabs is a Windows app, but browser trainers run on a Mac: Online Aim Trainer, 3D Aim Trainer's web version and Aiming.pro all work in Safari or Chrome.
How do I find my sensitivity without the Aimlabs Sensitivity Finder?
Match the cm/360 you already use in your main game with a free converter, then keep it. If you are new, start lower rather than higher: on Online Aim Trainer, new players on low sens scored far higher than those on high sens. Changing sens often costs more than a slightly imperfect number.
Is Aimlabs still free?
Yes, the core trainer is free and Aimlabs 2.0 made the core training plans free again. The Sensitivity Finder, game-specific programs, AI coach and advanced metrics are in Aimlabs Pro, from $7 a month.
